Top 4 Xbox Live Price Increase Solutions

Recently, Microsoft announced that as of November 1, 2010

they'll be increasing the fees for Xbox LIVE.

That gets a great big "C'mon Man!" from me and

others on the net. As if the super power Microsoft

needs more money. Isn't Bill Gates already the

richest man in the world? As one astute online

commenter stated, "Great Microsoft way to hike the price

up for something that already free to do on my PC."

To each his own I say. I rather enjoy my Xbox Live, so

here are some solutions to the inevitable price hike.

1. Start a lawn care service. No, I'm not joking. It's

a valuable service and there are plenty of customers to

be had as many people are unable to mow their own due to

health issues and other just plain don't want to do it, so

they gladly pay for the service. Another plus is you don't

usually need any special business license or certificates

in most towns to do this.

2. It's been said many times that, "One man's trash is

another man's treasure". There's no better place to prove

that theory than eBay, the online auction giant. Look

around your garage, attic or basement, maybe even your closet

and you are sure to find some items you haven't used or needed

in quite some time. What may seem like junk to you may very

well be just what that mother in Peoria, Illinois is needing

for her son. List one item a day and pay for your Xbox Live

fees.

3. Same principle as above, but this time go to Amazon.com.

These items will need to have an ISBN number or a UPC barcode.

Create an account at amazon, it's free. Click the "sell your

stuff" button and you are own your way. Books and video games

are hot items here, so if you have some books you haven't read

in awhile or some games you aren't into anymore just remember

someone else would love to have them.

4. Become an affiliate for products and companies on the internet

who will give you commissions for recommending their products or

services. Places like Clickbank, which deal with digital products

such as eBooks and Video training courses and Commission Junction

which handles physical products pay out billions each year to their

affiliates. You never have to store anything in your home that takes

up space and recommending things to people is as simple as clicking

you mouse. You don't have to have special computer knowledge to do

it either. If you can point and click, you can earn some money on

the internet. My 9 year old can do it.
